Olokele Canyon on the way to the catamaran cruise.
A cat in Hanapepe! He was very interested in the camera.

A view along the shoreline at the southern point of Kauai.
A view into the bay at Lawai Kai. The house once belonged to a queen of Hawaii and has been fully restored.
Hawaiian spinner dolphins. We saw many pods of them - they are much smaller than Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Click here for a video!
Another dolphin by the boat.
This side of the mountains are uninhabited, except for some cattle - they have a great view!
A pod of humpback whales! A baby, its mom and a few male whales. The baby was probably just a few days old as the whales come to Hawaii to have their children. They spend the winter here before returning to Alaska in the spring.
Another beautiful view of the coastline!
On the way back to the port.
A wonderful sunset on a great vacation - click here for a video - it does not show too well, but you could see the famous "green flash" the moment the sun went down - it was really neat!
